Why we need support from schools
The Accessible Learning Foundation (ALF) plays a vital role in ensuring that education is inclusive and accessible to all. However, the foundation’s ability to provide resources, technology, and programs depends heavily on funding. Schools, as direct beneficiaries of ALF’s initiatives, are uniquely positioned to contribute to its fundraising efforts and sustain its mission.
By supporting ALF, schools demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all students. Many schools rely on screening, specialised training for teachers and accessible materials provided or supported by foundations like ALF. Without adequate funding, these essential services could diminish, leaving vulnerable students at a disadvantage. Schools can organise fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
Involving students in fundraising efforts fosters a culture of empathy and social responsibility. It teaches them the importance of inclusivity while allowing them to actively contribute to meaningful change. Schools and ALF share a common goal: to ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed. By supporting ALF, schools are investing not only in accessibility but in the future of education itself.
